On a night he assumes is casual, he ends up in an argument and decides to go on a walk to clear his mind. Going through a quiet neighborhood, he is surprised to hear loud booming noises that echo through the area along with strange people that shouldn't be there. Sneaking into the house he sees men coming out of, he notices a man tied up and was literally tortured to death. While he had been sneaking in he landed in what appeared to be a child's bedroom, finding out he needs to rescue a child. After saving the child he instantly grows attached but doesn't know why. And when someone else finds out about the child... He ends up in a fight that involves more than one person.

[So with "Who Killed Markiplier", I learned that Dark's normal name is actually Damien. I didn't know this until now because I didn't watch the livestream it was mentioned in. Point is, years ago, long before "A Date with Markiplier" when everyone had their own version of Dark, I had one version (of several) where his real name was Damien. Not because it meant anything, just because I liked the name and it started with a "D" so it worked. So, I decided to make it into a story. This is one of those things where Dark was pretty harmless but could look intimidating af if he wanted to. Also, this is as far from canon as you can go, you've been warned about how far from the original this short story is.] (Italics and bold are Dark talking and just italics is Juliet.
