Zero pins me to the wall. "You are my mate, Vi." I feel everything in me freeze. "No way. Don't joke around with me." He leans his forehead against mine. "I'm not joking. I'm your mate, you are mine." A smile appears on my lips. "This must have been why you came here all thous years ago."

Zero came to the Kaynwood Pack when he was 7. No one could figure out who he was or why he was there. The alpha gave him the name Zero since he didn't know his name. Violet is the next in line to be the beta. Her uncle is the alpha so she got to be close to family a lot. When she turned 13 she had to be sent to her moms parents to train her warrior side. She is back now, 3 month shy of turning 18. Top of her class of warriors. But she comes home to find her parents dead. She pushes herself to focus on beta duties, but what happens when the alpha tells her to make a blood promise with her cousin and the Zero boy and Zero happens to turn out to be her mate? She will have to protect her pack and alpha just as must as her mate. Will she do that or only focus on him? (Sorry not the best summary.)

I ran downstairs in the living room to see all my brothers circling Nefeli who was looking for me desperately, in panic. Ah, I knew the scream could be heard and would make her worry too much. When we made eye contact she literally just jumped on me, almost suffocating me from how tight her hug was. I was taken aback for the first two seconds but then I hugged her back, not knowing what was happening. "Thank God you are safe!" she whispered in my ear, making me more confused than before. I looked over to my brothers who were equally unaware of what was happening, except Aiden and Alex who were motioning for me to wait. "Of course I am okay, Nefeli, what happened?" I asked worriedly. Seeing her like that makes my heart clench. I could not stand watching her in panic. "I heard Alex and Aiden talking about something in Italian and they said something about Mafia! We are being threatened by Mafia?!" she yelled in my face, tears ready to escape her chocolate brown eyes. Everyone exchanged looks and we could not help but burst into loud laughter as Nefeli was looking at us confused. "Love, we are not threatened by Mafia" Cole said after he calmed down. After enduring years of neglect and cruelty from her mother and stepfather, Ariana's life changes drastically when tragedy brings her under the guardianship of five brothers she's never met and they never even knew they had a sister. For her brothers, learning they have a sister is an unwelcome surprise. Suspicious and reluctant, her brothers see Aria as an outsider, a stranger disrupting the fragile balance of their lives. For Aria, their home is both a new beginning and a constant reminder of the family that left her behind. Haunted by the pain of her past, Aria struggles to adjust, her every action guarded and her trust hard to earn. As her brothers try to understand her, they begin to glimpse the scars she hides and the strength she carries. Little by little, resentment turns to empathy, and the walls between them start to crumble. But just as the siblings begin to find common ground, the secrets and trauma of Aria's old life threaten to tear them apart. Together, they must decide whether they can overcome the shadows of the past to forge a family and whether Aria can finally find a place to belong.
