Kazuha has been homeschooled ever since he was 7. He felt jealous at the other kids for being in school and being allowed to go outside unlike him having to go out with any adult. He has had this childhood enemy, Tomo, ever since he remembers. Tomo and his friends always bullied Kazuha for being "weird" just because he was home schooled and never allowed to go outside and mostly focused on poetry. One day, Kazuha snuck out and got bullied by them like always. Once he transferred to school on his 12th birthday, it only got worse with the bullying.
Eventually, they became friends and liked each other but didn't tell each other. One day, Tomo wanted to see the musuo no hinotachi....
