Aiga Akabane, the greatest blader and the World Champion in the Bladong world, finds himself in a dilemma with Achilles. He seemingly cannot fix their relationship anymore, and it's starting to frustrate him more than ever before.

When Wakiya offers him an invitation to a new tournament he'll be participating with many other blader's, he takes the opportunity in hopes that battling might be a cure to whatever disease that has infected them both.
