In times of war in our world they slaughter every shifted adult. Boys reach adult statues at fourteen where as girls don't reach it until they are sixteen. Children on the other hand are safe as long as they are not directly or indirectly related to the ruling wolf families.
Those children that survive such a war are know only as the forgotten. Once you have become forgotten no pack will welcome you, but neither are you rogue. Most forgotten don't survive being to young to truly care for themselves. This is the story of how the forgotten become more then what they were ever meant to be thanks to the help of a child never meant to exist in there world.
