I started out dating this great guy, I was told and warned by my friends and to befriend him or get to know him, due to the fact, that he might be involved in a motorcycle gang and involved with other gang members, but I knew that wasn't it all at. It was the fact that we came from different backgrounds and lived differently, I lived wealthy, and he simply didn't. I could tell and my friends and family could tell. Everyone did as soon as we hung out. But, most of all, he started to change, he started not to come out at all in the morning or when the sun was up. He came when it came down.

I didn't think anything of it, at first, but, I soon was in for his dark and deadly secret as well as who his friends really were. I will begin it from when it happened, when I found out, and then rewind to when I first met him.

❝ I lost you in the silence, bleeding through the walls; a sorrow came that ceased to leave & took you from my arms... ❞ - Draconian, 'Dishearten' || A fanfiction based on the movie The Lost Boys 1987 x OC 🥀 || ❝ I urge you to be mindful with the choices you make & the risks you take. Be mindful how much trust you pour into the world & the people that roam it. You may believe in the good in every soul you encounter, but the sad truth is that not everyone has something good to offer... Many a kind smile hides a vicious heart ~ ❞ Faint beams of cold silvery light gave birth to one of the most bizarre scenes I had ever witnessed in my life & without a doubt would ever come to witness, the blood freezing in my veins when I saw the intruder's face for what it truly was: a distorted masquerade revealing human features as well as monstrous ones alike, bleeding an expression trapped between blind amusement & rampant wrath; embedded in it a pair of orange-red eyes, glowing like dying embers in the pool of darkness, & where once a careless smile had graced his young face I could now see two large fangs instead of regular human teeth, ready to grab & tear flesh from bone. It was in that moment that I snapped out of my trance-like state & managed to force myself out of the paralysis that had grabbed hold of my body; my survival instinct took over at last & I jumped up in my bed to back away from the man who turned out to be exactly what I thought he was: A vampire.
