Grace has this down-pat, with a perfect family, a perfect future, with a simply-put perfect life. Liam's life is not so perfect. He has an alcoholic mother that goes through boyfriends like she goes through glass bottles, and his future is as hazy as his mother's drunk eyes. When they meet on the street outside the grog shop, they connect instantly - like in all good stories - but their opposing lifestyles provide a very substantial barrier.
