When Calliope learns that she is arranged to marry Aias, she is devastated. She has always wanted to marry for love, and while he may be rich and handsome, she always says she would rather be poor and happy than wealthy and miserable. Aias should be a lot happier that he is going to marry the prettiest woman in Pompeii, at least that's what everyone is telling him. But he couldn't care less about what Calliope looks like. He wants to wed someone who he can converse with, not someone with nothing but a pretty face. This is a story about two people who learn to love each other, but unfortunately the best love stories end in tragedy. (A story of Pompeii) #1 in Pompeii (June 5 2024)
