An ordinary-seeming summer break. A cold case from the 1980s. A small town with dark secrets.
Jaime Jordan never wanted to be a detective. She just wanted to enjoy her summer break like a normal high schooler. But life has other plans.
Since she moved to Hurricane, Utah, Melinda Bennet has been trapped in a nightmare. People have been disappearing without a trace. And the town is doing nothing about it. It's like she's the only one who cares.
When Jaime travels to Hurricane to spend a month with some friends from camp, she gets more than she bargained for. Not only is she reunited with Melinda, her best friend from back home, but she's also thrust into a risky investigation of a cold case from the '80s. Not even twenty-four hours after this happens, both girls are dragged into a dangerous rescue mission--with enough ghostly activity to last them a lifetime. Alongside their newfound friends (dead and alive alike), they must unravel a web of Hurricane's coverups, secrets, and mysteries from the past and present. A Five Nights at Freddy's fanfiction.

In a post apocalyptic world, two young women had been living in a small corner of the world for several years before they are forced to flee what they had called home for a while. In doing so, they were low on supplies and had no choice but to seek out the next place to call home. And it is at the worst time to, with winter approaching quickly. They find themselves within a ruined Salt Lake city of Utah, where they quickly find items that they would deem as useful for themselves. However, this city wasn't empty. A large group who have taken control of the city and are merciless towards outsiders, even to those wanting to join the group. The two women are lucky, at first, to avoid being detected by this group. But that does not last for long. However, it would seem this group was not the only threat. Smaller groups who roam the city seem to hold up against this large group just fine, but rumours and sightings of strange beings roaming the city are echoed and repeated by various people. And it all seems to lead back to an abandoned pizzeria that has been shut down for years. But the two women would soon find themselves confronting one of these things. But it would not be a normal encounter. After all, this individual has had a lust for blood and all he loves to do is hunt and kill. However, it is at this encounter that he seems to find intrigue with one of the women. Mostly for how she handled the encounter like no one else has. And he would soon realize another side of his coin has arrived, and she had no idea. And thus, while women attempt to leave, they find that they have unintentionally become intertwined with something that has now secured their fate to the ruined city. And for one, undead animatronic, this has become favorable to him. And for another, golden animatronic, the perfect storm to keep unfolding his plan of torment for one William Afton.
