After a rather upsetting and traumatic year at Hogwarts, Piper Harward opted to spend what would have been her sixth year traveling the world with her father. After some unfortunate events, Piper ends up at Hogwarts once again, starting her seventh, and final year. She finds herself thrust into what should have been a familiar world, but only discovers that everything has changed, including herself.
