What happened after the Portorosso cup and the magical realization that the town had friendly sea monster neighbors?
11 years after meeting for the first time, Giulia, Lucca and Alberto have all made their own path in life. Alberto stayed in Portorosso, growing into the town's heart-throb mechanic and occasional fisherman; while Giulia and Lucca moved to Rome to go to college.
Though it has been a couple of years since they saw each other last, a tragedy will inevitably drive them together again.
Seeing Giulia will awaken feelings in Alberto that he thought he had long ago forgotten, while Lucca will have to deal with the unexplainable butterflies brought on when he stumbles into the arms of an old bully, who happens to have grown into a strapping young man.

He searches for Luca and they instantly click, only this time, now being older they take action in that feeling they once shared for each other. But of course, there's always someone who has their eye on someone else to ruin someone's career. When both are caught they must decide whether they choose to be together or devote themselves to their passions and never be seen in public together. Only Time Will Tell (A Luberto Story)
After being in Genova for what felt like so long, Giulia and Luca were finally coming back to Portorosso for the summer. After what felt like ages, the underdogs will finally be reunited, and most importantly, Luca will finally be able to see his best friend Alberto again. Even with this in mind, Luca just feels weird. Is it his nerves? Is he just anxious? Whatever it is, Luca is feeling something he's never felt before. He just can't put his finger on it. Only time will tell....
