Maddie Singer thought leaving the world of the supernatural behind was what she wanted, what she needed. But after being hauled back into her old life after the death of her best friend Jess, she finds herself stuck in the hunt for a certain John Winchester, a nostalgic search that brings up many unwanted emotions from her past. One Winchester brother in particular never failing to stir the pot and make life on the road that much more messy; he always did have the tendency to screw things up.
So, not only did she have to deal with the intricate task of grieving her best friend, but also face killing monsters and creatures while old feelings resurfaced whether she liked it or not.

You grew up to be a hunter despite your fathers wishes for you. Your father, Bobby Singer, hated that you were in this line of work, and he always blamed himself for ridding you of a normal life.
