As she reached Negan's cell, she paused, taking in the sight of him. He was sitting on the edge of his cot, looking almost relaxed, as if he had been expecting her. When their eyes met, he gave her that trademark smirk that sent a shiver down her spine.

"Hey kid," Negan drawled, leaning back against the wall. "Wondered when I'd be seeing you."
