After the fire took everything from him, Jiang Cheng felt as though his world had ended. With his sister in a coma and his brother presumed dead, he had reached his breaking point. To add further pressure, the government is attempting to ban cultivation-destroying their way of life.

Every time LWJ is near WWX, he has visions of the events that occurred later in the novel such as the Cloud Recesses burning, WWX giving his golden core to JC, WWX being thrown into burial mounds and WWX becoming the YP. He approaches WWX this time and hopes that he can protect him but is rejected constantly. So he summons most of the cultivation world to tell them about the visions he had seen." The entire cultivation world turned against Wei Wuxian. The only one who did not, was Lan Wangji. That day at Nightless City, after Wei Wuxian fell from that cliff, Jiang Cheng stabbed Lan Wangji in the process. Lan Wangji didn't look back as he fell from that cliff after Wei Wuxian. The thing is, with the cultivation world thinking the two have died, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian were now free from their clutches. That person helped bring Wei Wuxian back. The only thing they had to decide, clear Wei Wuxian's name or stay hidden. What will be their decision? He already got enough hate as it were without them knowing he could literally destroy everything they held dear with a mere whistle. Everything was fine, until he was forced to go to the Cloud Recesses with Jiang Cheng. That was when complications arose. After all, how could he keep things hidden from the Two Jades of Lan? Especially after the disaster one night, which ended in him hiding from Jiang Cheng. Notes *Jiang Cheng has a really bad temper, and I don't think they showed a realistic ideal with how short tempered he is, so he isn't bad, but he does get violent *In this, Wei Ying already entered the burial mounds before the Jiangs collected him. It will be explained in detail later. *Wei Ying has some problems. these are things not well addressed in either the book or the live action, and I will be addressing them here.
