Hidden. Madam Yu and Jiang Cheng coming in once in a while. It was never good when they did. Kept weakened so that he could not escape, he was absolutely terrified of people. When the Lan Clan comes to investigate rumors of mistreatment of the Jiang clan, they were about to leave, having found nothing, when Lan Xichen stops them, suddenly, and orders them to cross the river. Panicked, Jiang Cheng and Madam Yu attack them, which only serves to raise their suspicion more. What they find will change the Jiang and Lan clan forever.

Every time LWJ is near WWX, he has visions of the events that occurred later in the novel such as the Cloud Recesses burning, WWX giving his golden core to JC, WWX being thrown into burial mounds and WWX becoming the YP. He approaches WWX this time and hopes that he can protect him but is rejected constantly. So he summons most of the cultivation world to tell them about the visions he had seen."
