Hell on Wheels

The armies of Heaven and Hell have been in violent conflict since before time, and the war shows no signs of ending. Eons have passed since the bloodshed began, and the Lords of Hell who lead the Demonic troops have no tolerance for incompetence.

This is particularly bad news for Azrael, a lazy demon, who has coasted in hell by cutting corners, and passing his responsibilities onto the poor Damned Souls that inhabit the Pit.

Azrael had been given a crucial task to complete for the war effort, but botched the execution due to his poor discipline. For his failure, Az was sentenced to a penance by the Dark Lord Lucifer: he would be banished to the surface of the realm of man, Earth, and required to harvest enough souls to replenish the ranks of the troops who he had doomed in his ineptitude. However, rather than being allowed to keep his normal Demonic countenance, Lucifer instead chose to give Az a less conspicuous form: a 2012 Isuzu box truck.

Will Azrael be able to harvest the souls necessary to tip the scales of war in favor of the forces of Darkness?
