Ode of Man (WIP)

It was foretold that rapture would happen. In almost all religious texts, the end times were written as the ending symphony to the Ode of Man. No one expected it to be like this. No trumpets, no angels, just demons all around. It was written that the righteous would ascend to take their place besides God. Yet they still remain in this twisted world. The dead began to rise, not due to some plague nor weapon, but due to the sin of man.

Embark on this duet, the tale of two different perspective. One of religious understanding and the other from situational intelligence.

Issac a French infantry soldier, who's actions labeled him a hero in everyone's eyes due to his selfless actions during the French invasion of Russia. When the commander dies. People look to him to be the leader. He has to step up for his comrades, for his friends.

Lucas, part of the Spanish inquisition remnant. Is tasked with the holy pilgrimage across Spain with his fellow members. Their sacred mission is to deliver holy and righteous artifacts to a Sancturary in order to stop the madness.

Read how the chapters bounce off one another as these two men are from totally different backgrounds experience the same hell. Two tales, one hell, and the only commonality between the two. Is the furnace inside of them screaming to survive.

This story takes place in the Guts and Blackpowder universe (Roblox game) which is essentially an undead epidemic during Napoleonic times. I do not own the IP!!!!
