"I like you", he said.

My shock was inevitable. I hadn't thought of him as anything more than a best friend. I didn't want him to be anything more than a best friend. It would not ruin our friendship but also the memories we had together.

"Why do you like me?"

I was not asking for a reason. I was just frustrated by the whole thing. I didn't know where to take out my frustration and I was taking it out on him.

"I don't need a reason to like you.", he said.

Cool. If I had liked him I would have been all giddy feeling very excited that a person liked me for absolutely no reason. He liked me with all my flaws. But I didn't like him.

"We were best friends Jimin. Why did you have to like me?"
