The Garden State (of mind)

Beatrice Fox has always been the girl who has a strict 5-year-plan and intends to stick to it, she's had the same plan for years; get into the top nursing program in Victoria, graduate top of her class, become a nurse at The Royal Children's Hospital, have some kids, die next to her wife.
Emerson Haines has never known what she wants to do with her life, she is just trying to get through it. Whatever she ends up doing, she knows she'll have her trusty service dog Holly to lead the way and help her fight the everyday battle that comes with having POTS (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome).
Beatrice and Emerson are just going about their lives when one day, they meet on the bus. To each other, it's just a normal interaction with a stranger, Beatrice drops her wallet, Emerson picks it up for her, Holly gets a compliment. Nothing special right?
This is a story where not one thing is a coincidence, a story of love, and hope, and most importantly, the universe trying to push two people together who just won't seem to get the hint
