My nails dug into my flesh. "I can't."

I gripped his arm, tears trailing down my eyes as I sobbed. "I really can't, Aiden." I cried. "Anything but that. My marriage is already falling apart. This will ruin everything."

"That is exactly what I want, doll," he whispered, and I froze.
