Seeing his mom is doing better after a flare up of COPD he takes the offer. 
He immediately regrets it after ash doesn't inform him dawn would be there. Someone who Goh doesn't get along with.

all of the characters are around 17 and 18. The book cover has their younger versions but that's because i couldn't find adult pictures of them and I'm a terrible artist. i also couldn't find a free pic with all the characters in the story so the thumbnail doesn't look the best but hey i suck at making them :D with that being said
