Three Warriors felt out of place in their Clans; like they couldn't conform to the expectations of Clan life. These are their stories as they come to learn what it truly means to be a Warrior.

Floraclaw believes she needs nobody. She doesn't want a mate or a family to drag her down. Nothing could ever distract her from her duties as a Warrior, as that could only end in death. But she must learn that, even if she will never share a nest or set foot in the nursery, there's nothing wrong with a few friends.

Sunstorm recoils from blood and even pities the prey she kills. She despises the cold and the mud. In the time of a tyrannical leader, the simpler, gentle life of a kittypet calls to her, though it's sinful to most Clan cats. And she comes to realise that taking the easy way out sometimes is the hardest way out, and a Warrior does not need a StarClan-given name.
