Floraclaw believes she needs nobody. She doesn't want a mate or a family to drag her down, and when she's trying to defend her Clan from foxes or enemies, an ally would only get in her way. Or so she believes.
A new threat has emerged in BerryClan, and the leader is not there to do anything about it. This time, responsibility falls onto Floraclaw to protect her Clan. But she is wounded, and cannnot defeat Darkflame by herself. She must enlist the help of the only two cats who believe her accusations, and learn to trust others to fight when she cannot fight herself.
