Bakugo get into an argument with his mother and claims she'll never know what it's like to be a kid a not know who you are. To get called names, to almost die multiple times. to always have to be saved by everyone else and never can save yourself. And being told you'll never be a hero.

Over hearing the fight Marsus(just for the plot and the story) sends Katsuki and his and friends back in time.
(just to clarify Bakugo, todoroki,and midoriya all got assigned to a summer project they have one month)
