This is book number 2 of the True Mates series. While you don't necessarily have to read part one, which is Jimin's book, it might help, because they do flow together.
'Mate.'
"What?"
'Mate!'
"Here?! Now?!"
'Mate!'
"Stop yelling at me! I heard you! How in the hell am I supposed to know who it is?"
'MATE!'
After their alpha, Jimin, found his True Mate in Aurora, the rest of the pack knew that theirs would come to them, eventually. But this was about the last place that Kim Namjoon expected his wolf to declare that their mate was near.
He was in the middle of his mandatory military service, and his unit was currently participating in some friendly war games with the US troops at Camp Humphreys, a US Army base in South Korea. He knew that his mate wasn't anyone in his unit, and it was unlikely anyone in one of the other Korean units from his base, because he had been around almost all of them, at some point, and this was the first time his wolf had said that word since he joined.
Which meant.... his mate was most likely one of the US soldiers stationed at Camp Humphreys, that was taking part in the war games. The problem? As he looked around, he realized that there were around 3,000 US troops on the open field with them right now.
Awesome.
