"Hey, wait up, Y/n!" a voice said, saddened. "Do you really have to go away? I mean, it's cold up there!"
"I know, but it's because my mom got a dumb job up in New York. But let's stay in contact, yeah?" Y/n said with a comforting smile spreading on his face.
As Y/n's friend, Mark, hugged him, Y/n couldn't help but hug back. "I promise I'll contact you every morning, advisory, and evening, and fill you in on tea," Mark promised.
'Bullshit,' Y/n thought as he stared through the backseat window of his mother's SUV, remembering that moment. "Remind me why you got a job in New York, again?"
This story is about a trans male y/n who is making a change to New York with his family. He is 18, and the rottmnt characters are all AGED UP in this. Please forgive any cringe, I just found this story in the pits of my closet of Docs.

Lost... but Finally Found (TMNT 2014 fanfiction/Raphael love story)
Pain. Fear. That's all I could feel. I was running for my life, as the men in black were running after me. Why were they chasing me? What did I do? I looked down at my stomach. There was a gash with blood dripping to the ground below me. Every time I moved it felt like fire was burning a hole inside me. Tears were springing up in my eyes at the pain of my wound and the fear of these strange men after me. Then a sudden, burning pain, flew threw my right shoulder, sending me falling to the ground. My breathing was labored. A lake of crimson red was surrounding me as the men in black ran to where I laid. All I thought about was Jay. Where is he? I saw one of the men raise their gun at me. And just before they finished me off, they were knocked off their feet by what looked like...ninjas? Everything happened in a blur. The men in black were being flown everywhere. The blackness started to then wrap itself around me into it's dark hold, and the last thing I saw before I was consumed was four, green, ninja reptilian people standing above me. Then I realized that they were...turtle ninjas. (This is my first TMNT fanfic, so don't judge. And they took the movie off of Netflix, so some parts are not going to be accurate. This is set in the 2014 movie. I would advise for you to read this if you are 13 or older because there are mentions of child abuse, kidnap, mild cursing, and violence. But if you are younger than that and you want to read it, then go ahead, but read at your own risk. Anyways, enjoy the story.) I don't own the movie TMNT or the characters. Donnie is Non-Binary. That would normally be fine, but a new side of their life is starting to get in the way of coming out. This "new side" is named Brandon Carter, a human boy. Donnie met Brandon when he was 15 & they were 14, a year before the Shredder incident. Brandon is the one that helped Donatello realize they were Non-Binary when they were 16 & he was 17, just after the Kraang incident. Brandon had opened a whole new world to them. Now, Brandon is 22 years old & Donatello is 21 years old. Donatello is out to April, Leo, & Splinter. And that's it. Donatello is petrified to come out to Raphael, Michelangelo, Casey & Vern. They shouldn't be so anxious since they've known their brothers since they were literal infants & they've known Casey & Vern for as long as they've known April. Brandon isn't making the situation any better, either. Donatello finds it awfully hard to focus on themself when they keep thinking of Brandon. Until Brandon & other Civilians get captured by the Foot Clan, led by Master Karai & Doctor Stockman. Karai & Stockman reveal that the civilians are to be test subjects for a new virus-like recreation of the mutagen. Vincent gives Donnie a lead (but they already knew). When the turtles find the place, they are able to save the civilians with help from April, Casey, & Vern. The Foot Clan then bomb the building. But Brandon is still trapped in his containment unit. Leo tries to get Donnie to leave, but they can't leave Brandon. They find a way to hack into the system & disconnect a weakening Brandon from the tubing, but he is still in the cage. Donnie is able to break it & holds Brandon close as the building collapses around them. They both make it out alive, & they are scared to lose Brandon again. Which leads them to reveal their newest project: an engagement ring. Then, Leo asks why Donnie risked their life for Brandon. That's when Donnie reveals that they are non-binary & that they've been dating Brandon in the first place.Complete
