After five years in an isolated facility run by the American government with other kids like her, Skye is released into the nightmare beyond the barbed wire walls to trial a safe route to Washington DC. It's the first breath of fresh, unfamiliar air which she wouldn't get beaten for, but that doesn't take away the danger. She's unprotected and isolated because of who she is, but she's one of the most dangerous things out there.
