Rosewood Academy is a prestigious boarding school in Hawes, an English countryside. With its towering spires and sprawling campus, it was the pride of the small town in which it was situated in. The school's students were all talented in one way or another, and their parents, who had paid top dollar for their tuition, were not disappointed.
The academy's rose logo, a cardinal flower with thorny vines framing its edges, could be found on nearly everything in the campus; from the students' uniforms to the silverware in the dining hall. It was known as the mark of distinction and excellence, and as such, students bore it as pins on their uniforms proudly.
But in the midst of the bustling academy life, trouble had been brewing. A mysterious student, known only as "A," had been leaving notes around campus, threatening to expose the shady dealings of the Academy's faculty and administration.
--------------------------
Lydia Chang, a 15-year-old teenager who sought for new friends, joined Rosewood Academy in the middle of the term through a scholarship. She made new friends and enemies on her first day of school, and formed a friend group with the enigmatic Ryder Hawkins, laidback Milo Evans, and bubbly Chelsea Millers.
The group called themselves "The Roses", taking their name from Rosewood Academy's iconic logo, determined to uncover the truth behind the notes.
With the help of a kind teacher, the Roses were able to expose the corruption and bring it to light. But at what cost? As they navigated the complexities of campus life, and the truth of what Rosewood Academy truly was came to light, the Roses would be changed forever.
When the truth comes out, there's nowhere left to run.
