Ada Walker is a rejected 8 year old girl that is practically long dead already, because she's been forgotten since she was born. She raised herself since she could walk; buying her own clothes with pocket money from mowing the neighbours lawn and cooking her own dinners, as in chicken sandwiches. Her mom was always too drunk to do any that or she just was too busy going to bars. Her daddy didn't like her much, not that that was surprising. She didn't like herself much either anymore.

Ada had herself and herself only.But what you wouldn't expect to change that is the end of the world and man eating monsters trying to munch on your bones and getting stuck on the highway with a bunch of assholes. Because her soul came back to life.
