A story where Sonic and Shadow yet again face another challenge from Dr Eggman, Yet this time, it's quite more serious than his usual robotic shenanigans. He has found an energy that lies in a few of Sonic's friends. This energy could power a destruction weapon, and with that, he manages to capture almost everybody, except.. Sonic and Shadow.

Throughout the journey to save their friends, Shadow and Sonic, the rivals, grew stronger together...maybe a little more than rivals.
