Katie Shaw, a mysterious teenager, has to deal with the struggles of life alone. With her father in jail, her mother working 24/7 and a family that is anything BUT ordinary, she learns to be herself and with the help of some friends, get through highschool. With drama, boys, and school work, high school is not easy for a teenager. But, Katie shows exceptional behavior and skills as she goes on with her not-so-normal life.
