Eighteen-year-old Hinata moves to the small town of Girdwood with her mom after her father's death. Her life is predictably routine: attending high school, working at the local diner, and spending time with her friends.

One night, Hinata reluctantly joins her friends at a college party. There, she encounters a mysterious man with captivating eyes. As the night progresses, Hinata, a lightweight drinker, gets increasingly drunk but stubbornly tries to keep up with her friends. She finds herself unable to escape the stranger's gaze, feeling an undeniable connection.
