Theo Graham has always felt like the "black sheep" of his pack. He's never managed to shift as effortlessly as his packmates, never been affected by the notorious "Haze" that all werewolves go through in their late teen years, and biggest of all, he's almost 21 and still has yet to find his fated mate. 

He's sick and tired of everyone telling him that there isn't any rush, and that it will "happen when it happens." Sure, some wolves find their mates in their early adult years, but *most* found theirs in their late teens, and for once in his life, Theo craves to be a part of the majority. He wants to finally feel like a proper werewolf-not some defective mistake.

However, during the Alphas' anniversary ball, an accidental run-in with the sole heir of the Mockingbird pack sets Theo's life on a course he could have never anticipated.
