This story is firstly based on real experiences and is very common in the Indian subcontinent. This story evolves around an Indian superstition called '' Buri Nazar'' or ''Nazar Lagana''. The English term for this is ''Evil Eye'' which means a look or thought capable of inflicting injury or bad luck on the person at whom it is directed and is almost related to black magic. this story mainly reflects the problems and experiences faced by the protagonist as he gets trapped in a curse set by his neighbor.
This story is very interesting as it discovers and explores different personalities of people and the society which is filled with jealousy and envy.
