The Paris Opera House, with its opulent chandeliers and grand performances, was the pride of the city. To the common folk, it was a place where music and dance intertwined, creating moments of beauty and grace. But beneath this facade of elegance lay a labyrinthine network of tunnels and chambers, where a different kind of performance played out.
Tonight, the opera house was alive with the strains of a grand symphony. Above, the audience was enraptured by the performance, oblivious to the unseen battles fought below. In the catacombs, the Shadow Legion trained relentlessly, honing their skills in combat and sorcery. For centuries, they had stood as the hidden guardians of the city, their existence known only to a select few.
Unbeknownst to both the audience and the Shadow Legion, a new player was about to enter the stage. Julien Delacroix, a talented yet overlooked violinist, was about to stumble upon a world he never knew existed. His discovery would set in motion a series of events that would change the fate of the opera house, and perhaps, all of France.
As the final notes of the symphony echoed through the grand hall above, a new symphony began to play below - one of shadows and secrets, of battles and magic. The stage was set. The players were ready. And the aria of shadows was about to begin.
(new chapter every saturday !!)
They invited me to their masquerade.
Three cursed brothers-
One a warrior.
One an assassin.
One a prince.
I'm just an ordinary, nerdy, twenty-three-year-old girl. (I mean, my hobbies include writing fanfiction and caring for my collection of succulents.) I don't know anything about magic. And I have no idea why these brothers want me.
But as they draw me into their enchanted world, they tell me I'm the only one who can save them from their curse.
I only hope my heart is prepared for what's to come.
