    Aubrey Martin's life has been one misstep after another since his grandfather passed away. Things take an even stranger turn when he learns his nemesis, Elijah Cruz, shares an awkwardly personal connection with him: their love interests are falling for each other.
    
    In a bid to escape the mess, Eli proposes a ridiculous idea: weekly movie nights with Aubrey. The plan seems doomed from the start. Between their clashing tastes, constant bickering, and Eli's endless complaints about vegan food, it's chaos. But somewhere between mismatched films and drunken arguments, the lines start to blur. These nights begin to feel less like a distraction... and more like dates.
    
    As the weeks go by, Eli finds himself questioning everything he thought he knew about Aubrey. What started as an attempt to ignore their complicated lives is turning into something deeper, something Eli isn't sure he's ready for.
    
    But does Aubrey feel the same way, or is Eli setting himself up for yet another heartbreak?
