Tillie knows she was made to perform on stage, and everyone around her knows it too. After impressing seasoned, touring comedians and catching the attention of popular industry agents and producers, her standup career takes off and she is rocketed into fame and stardom. With her best friend Maya at her side who serves as her PR Representative, their friendship hits new highs as they tour the country, hit popular late-night interview shows, and party with celebrities. But Tillie's pre-existing substance abuse problems are amplified in her new, fame-filled lifestyle. She is constantly surrounded by drugs and alcohol in the A-List scene. Her newfound wealth and new celebrity and social connections make it way too easy to get whatever she wants-when she wants. Maya and Tillie's friendship becomes strained as Tillie's substance abuse hits a new level. Maya thought being her best friend's PR Rep would be exciting and fun-promoting her career, booking her shows, and running her social media, but now Maya finds herself near her breaking point, constantly trying to control Tillie's erratic behavior and polish her social image to keep both of their careers afloat.
