Miles Davis and his buddies have been outcasts their entire lives. Living in the most dangerous neighborhoods in the city and barely getting enough food to pass by and too poor to go to school.They wander around the city for any sort of entertainment they can find. They hangout in a small abandoned grassy area just across the neighborhood where no one dares to go but them. They are the rejects of society.
Miles never cared the bit, he thought all the schoolkids were snobby anyway.He scared little kids as he walked by and no one ever dared to talk to him. But one day, while walking down the street to meet his buddies, he runs into a little 9 year old girl named Bebelle. He doesn't know it yet, but Bebelle would end up being the best thing that ever happened to him. After bringing him back to his buddies, they take her under their wing and raise her up to be one of them. Bebelle, being an orphan, felt for the first time in her life that she truly had a family.
But when Miles is forced to leave the state for years, things begin to change, and people have grown.
But what happens when Miles comes back to see that everything has changed, some not for the better?

Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race.
