In Italy, 1400, two great monarchs rule. 

The Prophecy of Unita states that the vampires and werewolves of Italy will be united by the son of the werewolf king and the daughter of the vampire queen. However, the two who hold those postions in 1400 cannot possibly be the ones mentioned in the prophecy, can they?
Princess Cassia, the ruthless, blood thirsty assassin drinks the blood of her people and starves herself for clarity of mind. 
Prince Valiente, the pretty boy top of his class Alpha loathes vampires above all else and belives they are soulless. 
Then they meet in a cocaphany of blood, gore, betrayal and lies. Cassia is captured by the Prince and his Shield and taken further into enemy territory than she's ever been before. 
In retaliation, Cassia's mother sends her army to wipe out the werewolves once and for all. 
Meanwhile, in the north, Valiente and Cassia descover that in order to save their peoples from killing eachother, there's only one thing they can do. They must marry and rule Italy together. 

 This is a fanfic x original work with elements from other stories such as the Scorpio Races, Twilight, The Vampire Diaries and the Mortal Intruments.
