Bitter Boy

Nathan and Ruben have been friends since they were kids, practically since birth. You might say Ruben only hung out with Nathan to get more popular, but that would be a lie. Nothing could change a thing about how they treated each other; they'd been through thick and thin together and would continue to for the rest of their lives, or so they hoped.
It was almost their last year in high school, with only the summer left before they started the new school year, and they were determined not to grow apart, as most people said they would. Between spending time listening to music for hours, painting while laughing so hard their stomachs hurt, and spending the entire summer together, it was getting harder and harder for Nate not to confess his feelings for Ruben. Little did he know that Ruben felt the exact same way, but as most stories go, it's only a matter of time before one of them caves into the temptation of the other's lips...
