He leaned in slightly and curled his hand around Aziraphale's. "I was hurt when you left. This blasted shop was the only thing holding me together." 

Aziraphale met Crowley's gaze, and their fingers wove together. "Yes, well, it was a rather sour fight." 

Crowley shrugged. "We've had worse. Remember the fight we had in 1650?"

Aziraphale shuddered. "How could I forget? You were so upset you actually caught fire."

I'm not saying this is how it would happen. I'm not even saying any of this can be considered cannon. I'm just saying I'd like to think it could happen this way. That perhaps, in some far-off parallel universe, this could be a possibility for their reunion.All Rights Reserved

"Cause you're here", he says, voice carefully detached, "and you're hurt, and you need someone. And that someone's gotta be me." "Why?" He won't answer that. He can't answer that. "Don't ask stupid questions." ~oOo~ Or, the one where Heaven punishes Aziraphale the only way they know how, Crowley is there to help pick up the pieces, and maybe they can build something new and much more beautiful from both their broken shards. Warning for blood and injury, aftermath of physical violence, drinking as a coping mechanism, symptoms of depression - heed the tags!

"You're a terrible father for an angel," Crowley said, accusingly. "I'm a demon, and I make a far better mother." --- Aziraphale is almost certain that Crowley is only being perverse. But demons are unaccountable creatures, and Aziraphale finds himself flying to New York with him anyway.

The demon stepped in front of him, shielding Aziraphale from the rest of the room as he leaned in. "We don't have to actually do anything", he said, voice lowered conspiratorially. "S'just gotta look like we are, yeah? No one's gonna suspect a thing. Just helping each other out to stay undercover." Yes. Right. Stay undercover. Aziraphale really needed to focus. ~oOo~ Or, the one where they participate in an orgy in Ancient Greece, because what else is there to do but fuck your supposed enemy in order to keep up covers?
