Only Seventeen

For her 17th birthday she was promised a trip to anywhere for a week. She had chosen the most craziest place her younger self would never imagine... a place where the ocean is everywhere... where there is sand that makes your feet sink into it... the sound of waves at night... she chose an island.

She always wanted a found family. People who weren't blood but it didn't matter. Because they would be there for each other no matter what. She's never had something like that before. Never been lucky with finding friends. Or people in general. Even with her family she doesn't feel at home.

So she decides to go to an island. With her parents and two brothers. Doing the opposite of what she would usually do.
