Puppy Love ~ Seungjin

"Because I'm in love with you!" We both widen our eyes at my confession. I quickly turn around and try to run into my house, he grabs my arm and pulls me into his chest. He wraps his arms around my waist keeping in place. Our faces are so close. I gulp, his face looks at me desperately.

"Seungmin, I-"

"Please don't say anything. I don't want this to ruin our friendship. It's just a stupid crush, it'll go away. I know you probably don't want to be friends with some-" I'm cut off when suddenly he smashes his lips onto mine.

It takes me a moment to react but soon I melt into the kiss I feel myself being pushed against the wall. I try to keep up with Hyunjin as he picks up the speed of the kiss.

I feel his tongue brush against my lip, but I don't feel the fireworks and butterflies like I thought I would. It just feels wrong, which finally snaps me back to reality. I push Hyunjin back and away from me. We're both panting hard and staring at each other.

"I- You have a girlfriend," I whisper out. I feel a lump forming in my throat. I can see the regret in his eyes. I quickly run into my house, Hyunjin doesn't try to stop me again.

I'm thankful my mom is at work right now. I rushed into my room and collapsed against my door. I tuck my knees into my chest and finally let my tears flow. I crawl into my bed beside a sleeping Khami and curl into a ball under my blankets. I fall asleep as the tears continue to flow.
