Yudrian Shen, adopted by the wealthy Zhang Family, was intended to marry the family's eldest son. He was known for his arrogance and cruelty.

One day, Yudrian disappeared without leaving a single clue behind. No one knew where he was. The Zhang family searched their adopted son tirelessly. Days turned into months, and months into years, with hope slowly fading.

Two years passed. In a remote and overgrown area. A group of travel vloggers stumbled upon a secluded mansion in the forest and discovered a grim scene, a dead body with chains still attached to its right ankle. Shocked and horrified, the vloggers immediately reported the discovery to the authorities. Following an investigation, it was revealed that the corpse belonged to the infamous Zhang's adopted son, Yudrian Shen.

After his death, Yudrian found himself unexpectedly transported back in time, the day of Winter Break. For the first time in a long while, he felt a glimmer of happiness. He's finally free from his husband's cruelty. However, the nightmare of his past still haunted him relentlessly.

Yudrian suffered from PTSD. His once arrogant and aggressive behavior, he becomes quiet, emotionless, and avoidant. This sudden change left those around him confused and concerned, struggling to understand why he had become so distant and detached.

Instead of his usual outgoing self, Yudrian avoided social interactions, isolating himself from the world around him and keeping his emotions tightly guarded. He seemed haunted by unseen demons, his eyes carrying a weight of pain and sorrow that he could not express in words. Despite their best efforts, his loved ones found it increasingly difficult to reach him, unsure of how to help him break free from the grip of his trauma.
