An exiled warrior must break his curse before winter's bitter cold drains the last light of the world.

Jordan Mbu is a hero with an unforgivable past who has chosen to watch the world end from a distance, at least until he meets a woman and child who remind him that thee are still some things worth saving. Armed with  skills, knowledge, and a broken magical sword he sets out to do what's right in the face of a darkening world where light has nearly gone extinct. Many obstacles stand in his was, none so strong as his dark past looking to drown him in guilt and to break what resolve he has left.
