A Japanese student named Makoto Watanabe, or Mako for short, has awakened in the body of a Pikachu, discovering that the human world he once knew no longer exists, where pokemon have taken the place of Earth's civilization.  He has to learn to adapt to this new life of his, with the help of an Eevee named Ilia, who saved his life since day one.  As time goes on he slowly gets used to it, even forming a Freelance team known as Team Seeker as they explore Mystery Dungeons, locations that warp the laws of space and time.

However, what lies ahead of this path he walks may be more than he can expect to handle.  Will he be able to overcome these treacherous journeys ahead, or will the world he was brought into see the face of destruction once more?
