"A Book About Quinn" follows the story of a peculiar protagonist. Quinn, the titular main character, fulfills the role of the Narrator - but this isn't how the story was supposed to go, they're sure of it. Joined by James, Daphne and Alice - all holding secrets of their own - Quinn ventures across worlds to find the answer to that greatest of secrets - who are they, really?
Dreams and mirrors become portals to uncharted worlds, full of beauty and danger, and the most wonderous places. And time after time again is the question posed - who is visisting Quinn's dreams? And can they possibly rewrite destiny?

Though she jumps through the hoops, she doesn't want to follow the precepts at all, to guard the portals but never open them. Throughout this series, six characters develop their powers and their relationships with friends, with siblings and with romantic and sexual partners. They travel through time and to alternate dimensions both by accident due to a lack of control over their powers and intentionally due to being summoned to help save their world or a time line. The series is light and the individual novellas can be read on their own in terms of the story itself. I try to recap any important relationship stuff that isn't clear and anything relating to previous novellas (I may have missed 1 or 2 things but I tried).
