In the jujutsu world, the Zen'in and Gojo gangs have been at odds for centuries. So, as baby steps to fix this rivalry, Manami Gojo and Toji Zen'in have been arranged to get married to one another. The thing is, Toji still has feelings for the mother of his child Megumi Fushiguro, who has disappeared mysteriously. Everyone believes and says that she abandoned her family for money, but Toji refuses to agree.

And even though Manami and Toji's marriage was not a choice by the both of them, the two found solace in each other, courtesy of their similar backgrounds in their families. They both respect each other a great deal, so much so that Manami offers to help find out the truth about what happened to his first wife all the while being his second wife. Toji is moved by her actions, and as the two begin their journey of figuring out why his first wife vanished, they find that no one can control what blossoms in their heart, even when one believes they've got it all figured out.
