Growing up Melissa was a part of a loving family who babied her every single moment of her life, sheltering her from the outside world as much as possible. That was until they couldn't anymore. One thing that should have been so simple sends Melissa flying face-first down a rabbit hole full of trauma and near-death experiences until finally, she escapes at 16 years old, vowing to never let those men see the light of day again.
