The mermaid waits for him for and wanted to tell him that she was expecting their baby. The days become weeks and weeks become months....to years but he doesn't come back. Every nights she wait for him while singing. Eventually her patience runs out and she transforms from a mermaid to a siren after being deceived in love. Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. Iβve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. βUrgh,β I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasnβt come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first.
