You look like you've seen a ghost," Theo smirked at me . His dark hair fell effortlessly into place, and his tall, slender frame was cloaked in the customary dark robes of our family.
"Maybe I have," I replied, shrugging off the uneasy feeling that had settled in my bones. "Or maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed."
Theo's expression softened slightly. Despite his often sarcastic demeanor, I knew he cared deeply. "Breakfast is ready," he said, leading the way to the dining hall.
With breakfast almost finished, the fireplace roared to life, and Draco Malfoy stepped through the emerald flames. He wore an expression that was both confident and concerned.
"Morning, Draco," Theo greeted him, standing up to clasp hands with his oldest friend. "What brings you here so early?"
Draco sat beside me, his stormy grey eyes glancing between us. "I have some news," he said, his voice carrying the weight of something significant.
I exchanged a worried look with Theo before turning my attention back to Draco. "What is it?"
Draco took a deep breath, his usual bravado slightly dimmed. "There have been rumors circulating in the Ministry. Some whispers about old alliances and new threats."
Theo leaned back in his chair, his fingers steepled under his chin. "Go on."
"It seems that some remnants of the Death Eaters are trying to reform," Draco continued, "They're planning something, and it's gaining a lot of traction. The Ministry is keeping it quiet for now, but my father heard it from a dependable source."
"What does this mean for us?" I asked.
Theo's expression was unreadable. "It means we need to be careful. If they're looking to recruit, they might come after us, given our family's history."Tous Droits Réservés
